This is our new Beaver Pond, on the 18 acre family parcel we picked up near North Creek.

Maggie Connor: September 18, 2006 - July 11, 2007

Our very good friends Neil and Karen lost their nine month old daughter Wednesday night to a combination of illnesses. Our prayers go out to Maggie's parents now, as Maggie is at home in heaven and no longer suffering.

I wish that I should be able to muster up a fraction of the faith and resolve my friends have shown these past months, should I ever be faced with such difficult circumstances.

We just got back from a long long drive from Schroon lake to Virginia, and boy are we all tired! What a great vacation. I will post more tomorrow, but for now, who's head is that buried in the sand?
