Mike flips ATV -- hilarity ensues

My brother, fearsome hunter and fisherman of the Adirondacks, discovered last weekend of the inherent danger in combining these three things.



Evidently he managed to flip his ATV while piloting over the fearsome and relentlessly flat ice. The ice was treacherous; it shot out from underneath him and lept into the sky. Other than his pride, no one was injured, the ATV suffered minor damage, and now we have yet another story about "that crazy guy Mike".

We just returned tonighyt after a long days travel. I am very tired. We had a great time though! Nowe its back to work!

UPDATE FROM HONDURAS -- 2.8.2005

Hot and Wet here in Roatan, and island off the coast of Honduras. We
didn't do an excursion today, instead wandered around the poor little
town, found an internet cafe, and here I am! No luck gambling. Lost
on the spread in the Super Bowl. Kath and I both lost at the casino.
But who cares! We are having the time of our lives. The food is
great. Neil and Karen and us have found a mutual love for Yahtze!

LIVE FROM THE ISLANDS --2.7.2005

I am typing this message from an internet cafe on the grand caymen
islands. Our vacation is going wonderfully! The ship is great, there
is food everywhere. The weather is nice. We took a tour this
morning. Next, we go cave tubing in Belize. I have no idea what this
entails but it sounds very very cool. I will add more details later.

Ok, you may notice the new format of the web page, changed just as I am about to embark on my vacation. In response to Ginny's comment on the guestbook about the archive, it was easier to fix by changing templates than by fixing my own. I don 't know why exactly.

Also, it is now vastly easier for me to post photos, due to a bunch of free tools from that wunderkind of companies, google. Due to their fantastic Picassa software and there Hello messaging blogger bot, I am somehow able to post photos rapidly and easily. I have no idea how this works. And its free! Yeah!

over new years the weather got freakishly warm for a while, and all the kids went wild playing in the backyard with nina...

Anna's larger hermit crab started to molt, and then later died. They told us they could live almost 20 years!
